SFO Mar 2010

A quick trip to San Francisco. It's been several months since Melanie has been to China Town and she was having withdrawals. It was cold . . . but it's San Francisco. As Mark Twain said, "the coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco",

Cruisin' down the Embarcadero on the Trolley, this car was from Milan, Italy . . . circa 1930's

Took the tour of the bay on the Blue and Gold Line. The tulips were in bloom along Fisherman's Wharf.

The reason John endures the shopping trip up and down Grant Street in China Town is summed up in this picture. His reward is fresh fruit from the farmer's market, shrimp and crab cocktail and clam chowder from Fisherman's Wharf, topped off with some sourdough from Boudin's Bakery.
