Labor Day weekend started Friday night at Jared's house with a family outing. Jason, Shonnie, Macy, Porter, Marlee and Addison came to visit from Arizona and we all gathered for food, visiting, movies, face painting and fun at Jared's house. So fun to see all the families, brothers and sisters, in-laws, and cousins laugh and play and enjoy being together.
Saturday, Melanie and John went to Puerto Vallarta on a previously planned trip to hang out on a beach. Our favorite place to eat, Las Casitas at the Casa Magna Marriott, featured shrimp ceviche, the remants of which can be seen here.
Melanie has always been fascinated with mermaids, and we found one at the hotel.
