The American Girl Store

Three little girls at the SLC Airport waiting to begin their adventure to the American Girl Store, Los Angeles. Cousins and great friends, Abby Peterson, Annie Hales and Emily Reddish have backpacks ready and are off to see the world of the American Girl Place store with Grandma and Grandpa.

Arriving at the American Girl Place, Los Angeles. Three excited little cousins and Grandma.

Getting help with their necklaces and showing their 'wish list' folders. The folders were bulging at the end of the day, knowing that maybe a wish or two might come to pass by Christmastime.

Lunch is always special at the American Girl Cafe. Here Grandma goes over the menu with all the options. Each of the girls were joined by a special friend for lunch

Annie's friend was Molly. They selected the 'Bitty Bites' miniature hot dog and hamburger for their entre.

Emily invited her friend named Kit to have lunch with her. Both she and Abby selected the 'Tic, Tac, Toe' pizza which they said was delicious.

Abby's friend for lunch was 'Emily'.

The day was spent visiting each of the Historical Doll displays, the Bitty Baby department and all areas of the store. The store was packed with little girls ages 3 to 13 looking, wishing, shopping and buying with their Moms and Grandparents while more than one father was seen trying to hide his wallet.

When it was time to leave, the girls wanted a farewell picture taken in the lobby next to the American Girl Christmas Tree. The trip home was filled with excited discussions about the day's activities. No one feel asleep until the ride home from the airport.

The girls had a blast! Thank you so much. It's fun to see the play-by-play pictures and get an adult's description of what happened that day.
