Friday afternoon flight to San Diego, rented a car, grabbed some shrimp, crab & clam chowder at Anthony's on the harbor and then headed to Humphreys by the Bay for an 8:00pm performance by the original Jersey Boy, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. An outdoor venue on a beautiful San Diego night, Frankie Valli, now 70+ years old still has the voice. He sounds great ! His "new kids" Four seasons have the voices and the moves. (Frankie doesn't do too many dance moves anymore, but he is very animated and controls the program nicely)Have Chair - Will Travel came through again as we bought wheelchair seating in section G (cheap seats) and just before showtime the concert supervisor came up to us and said the wheelchair seating in section A front was available.
We are including a link below to last years Tony Awards (Jersey Boys is based on the history of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, of course) that shows Frankie and two of his original group. Visited the zoo Saturday before returning home that evening. Great trip.
